Position Summary
Pharmacy Care Associates is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Billing Account Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for managing patient accounts, insurance billing, and ensuring timely and accurate reimbursement while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
• Accurately and efficiently enter new patient information into the system.
• Bill Medicaid, third-party insurance plans, and other payer sources
• Research and resolve Medicaid and third-party claim denials.
• Provide exceptional customer service for account inquiries and adjustments.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist callers as needed.
• Maintain and work accounts in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assist with month-end billing and accounting processes.
• Prepare and distribute monthly statements to customers.
• Make outbound calls to follow up on account balances and payments.
• Process daily census updates.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy experience
• Customer Service experience
